The SHAR House Industrial Program (SHIP) offers individualized treatment services specifically designed for employed persons.  Based on individual need, a full continuum of care is available to address the substance abuse, other co-occurring disorders if present, with service delivery aimed at returning the employee back to work as soon as possible.  Whether the employee is being treated in residential, day-treatment, IOP, outpatient, or “halfway house” levels of care, SHAR’s focus attempts to utilize employment as a motivation for ongoing recovery.  With the permission of the individual, we involve EAP’s, CDR’s, and other employer representatives in order to smoothly transition the employee back into the work environment while sustaining their recovery.
