MISSION STATEMENT

ECHO endeavors to transform the barriers to self-sufficiency for the challenged and disadvantaged populations of Detroit. Through collaborative, strategic partnerships with faith-based organizations, governmental entities, individuals and other agents of change, ECHO's direction and call to action is inspired by Dr. Booker T. Washington’s motivational quote: "SUCCESS is to be measured not so much by the position reached in life as by the obstacles overcome while trying to succeed."
