What Will ECHO Do?

ECHO is an early intervention, recovery-oriented, faith-based outreach program for the purpose of reaching and treating Greater Detroit area residents and families dealing with substance abuse, mental health, trauma and many other life challenges. These highly troubled individuals are perilously close to catastrophic failure and without concentrated community-based help for training, prevention, education and development – and treatment when identified, they most assuredly will increase their use and dependence of already stretched State resources.

Each of the ECHO faith-based sites has a long history of trust and deep affiliation within the community and culture. Through these sites, we have establish a multi-disciplinary recovery-oriented continuum of services and coordination of care that broadly encompasses prevention, education/development and treatment interventions that promotes individual recovery along with family and community health and wellness – and restore functioning.

Service delivery is free, consumer-friendly, and easily accessible through our various faith-based sites and flexible based on the needs of each individual, each family and community.

The process for change will encompass physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of each person’s life. Each community and each participant will begin to realize a renewed solution-focused awareness.
